Pick #1: Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens – Over 54.5 Rushing Yards
Lamar Jackson has played in 7 playoff games and has surpassed 54 rushing yards in all but one. Buffalo has typically done well containing mobile quarterbacks, but they allowed 43 rushing yards to Bo Nix on just four attempts in the Wild Card round. Additionally, they gave up 54 rushing yards to Jackson back in Week 4 on only six attempts in a game that was effectively over by halftime. With cold weather and potential snow in the forecast, Lamar may lean on his legs even more when facing the Bills. He can surpass this number in the blink of an eye and we can reasonably expect Baltimore to have their foot on the gas for a full 60 minutes in Orchard Park.
Pick #2: Cooper Kupp – Los Angeles Rams – Fewer than 3.5 Receptions
Over the last three weeks of the season, Kupp saw just nine total targets, resulting in only four receptions. The passing game has been heavily dominated by Puka Nacua, with tight ends also getting a solid handful of looks from Matthew Stafford. In the Wild Card Round, Kupp had just one catch on a single target, further highlighting his dwindling role in this LA passing attack.
After a nice matchup against the Vikings, Kupp now faces a formidable matchup against Philadelphia, who allowed the fewest passing yards per game this season. The matchup, recent reduction in volume, and even some potential for bad weather all make it challenging to see Kupp surpassing four receptions in this one.
