Pick #1: Justin Jefferson – Minnesota Vikings – More than 82.5 Receiving Yards
The Chicago Bears managed to hold Justin Jefferson in check in their first meeting this season, as he managed just two receptions for 27 yards in that matchup. However, in seven games at U.S. Bank Stadium this season, Jefferson has averaged 6.29 receptions for 107.86 yards per game. His season low in yardage at home is 81 yards (against Detroit and Houston).
The Vikings need a win tonight badly to pull even with the Detroit Lions in the top spot of the NFC North, and Jettas should be a significant component of Kevin O’Connell’s game plan this evening. Chicago’s defense has been solid against opposing wideouts this season, but Jefferson is on another level, and Minnesota’s indoor track certainly helps Minnesota.
Pick #2: Kyle Pitts – Atlanta Falcons – More than 28.5 Receiving Yards
I guess I’m here to let Kyle Pitts burn me one last time tonight. Counting on him is admittedly a terrifying experience, but this is just too good of a spot to ignore for the struggling tight-end. While Pitts has all but done a disappearing act for the last three weeks (just two grabs for 23 yards), he draws a MNF matchup against a Las Vegas Raiders squad that has allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing TEs this season (15.87 FP/G).
Despite another disappointing season for the former 4th overall draft pick, Pitts is still averaging 2.6 receptions for 39 yards per game on the season. He has already had four different receptions of 30+ yards on the season. A donut is always possible with Pitts and these Falcons, but I think there is still value to be had here by grabbing Pitts to rack up at least 29 receiving yards in this one.
