Jameis Winston MORE THAN 37.5 Passing Attempts
Jameis Winston has been consistently airing it out this season, surpassing 40 pass attempts in four of the five games he’s started, averaging more than 43 attempts per game during that stretch. This week, he faces off against the Pittsburgh Steelers in a highly anticipated rematch of the snow-soaked game from a few weeks ago. While the harsh weather conditions limited his passing in that previous matchup, the circumstances are different now. With Pittsburgh coming off a tough loss, I expect them to come out motivated, which could force Winston to throw the ball more often in a high-stakes battle. Look for Jameis to be slinging it with a sense of urgency, trying to make up for what was a weather-impacted performance earlier in the season.
Malik Nabers LESS THAN 65.5 Receiving Yards
This play is all about the situation surrounding it. Nabers has been dealing with a nagging groin injury that he aggravated earlier this week, causing him to miss practice and leaving him listed as questionable for today’s game. Reports suggest that, if he does suit up, he would likely be playing through the injury in a limited capacity. On top of that, even without the uncertainty around his health, Nabers has struggled to clear this line in four of his last six games, which further adds to the concern. With his current status up in the air and his recent struggles, it’s hard to see him hitting this mark unless something changes drastically.
