Bucky Irving is banged up, and even if he suits up tonight, this still should open up a larger role for Richard White. When you add the decimated receiving corp, Baker Mayfield will likely look White’s way early and often tonight in the passing game once again.

This game script points to a game in which Tampa will need to throw the ball frequently to keep pace with the Chiefs, and White should find himself heavily involved both on the ground and through the air.

Pick #2: Patrick Mahomes – Kansas City Chiefs – More than 249.5 Passing Yards

Patrick Mahomes has thrived on MNF in his career. The future Hall of Famer holds an 8-3 record on MNF and has averaged 284 yards on 39 attempts in those eleven games. Tonight, he’ll get a crack at a Tampa Bay secondary that has allowed an average of 278 passing yards per game this season.

In their last four games, here are the opposing QB’s stats:

Week 8 – Kirk Cousins – 23/29 for 276 and 4 TDs
Week 7 – Lamar Jackson – 17/22 for 281 and 5 TDs
Week 6 – Spencer Rattler – 22/40 for 243 and 1 TD

Mahomes has averaged 260 passing yards per game at Arrowhead dating back to the beginning of last season and should benefit from the recent arrival of DeAndre Hopkins. I expect him to have plenty of success against this Tampa secondary tonight.
