Pick #1: Devon Achane – Miami Dolphins – More than 87.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards

Achane was an early pick in most fantasy drafts this summer, but his season took an ugly turn when Tua went out as the Dolphins QB. However, Achane came alive once again last week in Tua’s return, rushing for 97 yards on ten carries against the Arizona Cardinals. He also showed off his receiving skills with six receptions for 50 yards and a Touchdown through the air.

Achane torched this Buffalo team for 96 yards on 22 carries in their Week 2 meeting (the game Tua was injured) and averaged 76 rushing yards per game in their two clashes last season. Buffalo’s rushing defense has been nothing more than mediocre this season (756 yards allowed) and they’ve allowed an NFL-worst 51 receptions to opposing RB’s this season (resulting in 434 yards).

Pick #2: Jahmyr Gibbs – Detroit Lions – More than 67.5 Rushing Yards

The weather in Green Bay might not be frigid just yet, but it looks like it’ll be ugly with rain and strong winds throughout this game. While that is not ideal for a Detroit team that thrives indoors, the Lions do arguably have the best and most physically imposing offensive line in the league. Dan Cambell will be looking for his front five to take control of this game and make a statement to the NFC North against the division rival Packers.

Detroit’s two-headed rushing attack has proven extremely effective this season. Gibbs is the home run hitter here and has topped this 67.5-yard target in five of their last six games. Gibbs has run the football at least 11 times in every game this season and enters having topped 100+ yards in back-to-back games. A more run-heavy than usual approach should bode well for both Gibbs and Montgomery in this one.
