Pick #1: De’Von Achane – Miami Dolphins – More than 14.5 Rushing Attempts
This looks like a prime spot for Mike McDaniel to add some extra emphasis to establishing his run game. With Tua and Skyler Thompson both sidelined, Miami will call upon Practice Squad QB Tyler Huntley to take over the reins behind center. Last week’s game got out of hand a bit early and took Achane out of the gameplan a bit after an abysmal first quarter, though he still managed to pick up 11 carries.
Tennesse has allowed 4.5 YPC through their first three games, and I expect a heavy dose of Achane in this game early and often, especially if it results in any success of a Miami lead. With Raheem Mostert still sidelined, Achane should dominate the workload in the Miami backfield once again tonight.
Pick #2: Zach Charbonnet – Seattle Seahawks – Fewer than 7.65 Fantasy Points
Kenneth Walker is back for Seattle, and Charbonnet’s days of seeing double-digit touches are over for now. The one-time Wolverine is averaging just 3.5 YPC this season; therefore, topping this line seems almost touchdown-dependent. The Detroit Lions have allowed an NFC-best 3.6 yards per carry on the young season and Dan Campbell and company will likely do everything they can to force Geno Smith to try and beat them through the air this evening on MNF. Without a TD, this line will be tough for Charbonnet to surpass and his TD number UnderDog sits at 3.25X.
