Jeff Sims under 183.5 passing yards
Nebraska is going to have to try to slow this game down and they will do that on the ground. Last week, Sims ran the ball 19 times including 14 designed runs. Colorado struggled against the run, giving up 7.7 yards per carry. Sims also threw 3 interceptions last week, including one that cost Nebraska the game. I could see Sims throwing it less than 20 times here and Nebraska trying to keep this on the ground.
Mitch Griffis over 265.5 passing yards
Griffis threw for 329 yards on 30 attempts last week against FCS Elon and now he gets a Vanderbilt team that gave up 351 yards passing to Hawaii in week 1. I love the offense that Wake Forest runs and think that this is a great spot for it. Last year, Sam Hartman threw for 300 yards against Vanderbilt and I think Griffis has a similar day.
Sam Hartman over 240.5 passing yards
This should be the first game that we really see what Notre Dame has with Sam Hartman in this offense. NC State is a great warmup for Ohio State in 2 weeks and I think Hartman will start to let it loose here. I wouldn’t go too much higher here but I could see Hartman comfortable getting to 260-275 yards here.
Cornelius Johnson over 45.5 receiving yards
I was worried about the 1st team offense for Michigan in a blowout last week but Johnson led the WRs with 26 routes run. He had a decent aDoT over 10 yards and had 6 targets on the day, resulting in 71 receiving yards. I expect more of the same here against an outmatched UNLV team and Johnson should get plenty of work to get over 46 yards.
