During the regular season, he also surpassed this mark in all three of his matchups against the Clippers, showcasing his ability to distribute effectively against this team. While he hasn’t hit the over in the first two games of the series, it’s worth noting that he’s taken on a larger scoring role, which may be skewing his assist numbers temporarily. As the series progresses, I expect Westbrook to shift back into more of a facilitator role. With the law of averages on his side, some positive regression in the assist column seems likely.

During that stretch, he’s been averaging an impressive 24+ points per game, showing just how reliable he’s become as an offensive weapon.
