Ezequiel Tovar LESS THAN 1.5 Total Bases
Tovar caught fire during a recent series against the A’s, going over this total bases line in all three games and racking up 13 total bases in the process. However, outside of that hot stretch, he’s struggled to find consistency — going over this line just twice in his other 13 games, with only 7 total bases to show for it. His struggles are even more apparent against left-handed pitching, where he’s hitting just .200 with a .067 ISO, indicating well below-average power production. With those numbers in mind, I really like the under in this spot for Tovar.
Casey Mize MORE THAN 2.5 Strikeouts (Goblin)
Mize has been quietly reliable to start the season, going over this strikeout line in all three of his starts while posting a solid 7.8 K/9 rate. While the Royals aren’t a team known for striking out excessively, they still fan in just over 21% of their plate appearances — enough to give this prop value. Given Mize’s current form and the low number he needs to hit, this feels like a great spot to back him to stay hot and continue his early-season success on the mound.
