He’s also walking into a favorable matchup against Miles Mikolas, a pitcher he’s seen well in the past — Steer is 6-for-12 against him in his career, including two extra-base hits and four RBIs. With his bat heating up and a strong history against today’s opposing arm, this sets up as an excellent spot for Steer to keep producing.
Carlos Rodon MORE THAN 4.5 Strikeouts (Goblin)
Carlos Rodón has been dialed in to start the season, clearing this strikeout line in every one of his starts and averaging an impressive 7.5 punchouts per outing. Backed by a strong 31.5% strikeout rate, he now draws a fantastic matchup against a Baltimore lineup that has struggled mightily with plate discipline early on. The Orioles are striking out at a 27.3% clip against left-handed pitching — one of the highest marks in the league. With his current form and the matchup working in his favor, I absolutely love rolling with Rodón’s goblin today.
