Kris Bubic MORE THAN 7 Strikeouts
Bubic cleared this line in each of his first two starts this season before recording just 5 and 6 strikeouts against the Guardians and Yankees—two lineups known for limiting punchouts. Now, he finds himself in an ideal bounce-back spot against a Rockies team that’s striking out at an alarming rate of over 31% versus left-handed pitching. This matchup sets up perfectly for Bubic to get back on track, and I’m expecting a strong performance from him here.
Jack Flaherty MORE THAN 3.5 Strikeouts (Goblin)
Flaherty has surpassed this mark in all four of his starts this season, averaging an impressive 6.25 strikeouts per outing. While he faces a tougher test against the Padres here, he holds a solid 27% strikeout rate against their current roster over his career. Tough matchup or not, I’m backing this Goblin to keep dealing—I like him a lot in this spot.
