Fitzgerald has been locked in at the plate lately, going over this number in 7 of his last 9 games. During that stretch, he’s been raking, hitting an impressive .429 overall — including a .417 average against left-handed pitching, which is exactly what he’ll be facing today with Tyler Anderson on the mound. With the way he’s swinging it and the favorable matchup, this is one of my favorite overs on the slate.
Bowden Francis MORE THAN 3.5 Strikeouts (Goblin)
Francis has been consistently hitting this mark all season, going over this number in every start so far while averaging 5 strikeouts per game. He’s also posting a strong 7.94 K/9 rate, showing solid efficiency when it comes to missing bats. He draws a decent matchup today against a Mariners lineup that hasn’t exactly been lighting it up at the plate — they’re striking out in over 23% of their plate appearances. With his consistency and the opponent’s swing-and-miss tendencies, this sets up as another strong spot for Francis to keep the strikeouts rolling.
