Charlie Morton MORE THAN 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (Demon)

Morton has now allowed 4 or more earned runs in five consecutive starts, a troubling trend that dates back to the tail end of last season. His struggles have carried into this year, where he’s opened the campaign with an ERA north of 8.0. Even more concerning is the quality of contact he’s allowing — a staggering 62.5% of batted balls against him have been classified as hard hits. A big part of the issue appears to be his signature curveball, which hasn’t had the same bite or effectiveness, leading to more barrels and, ultimately, more runs on the board. Morton is clearly still searching for answers on the mound.

Ryan McMahon MORE THAN 0.5 Hitter Strikeouts

McMahon has gone over this strikeout line in 13 of his last 15 games, continuing to struggle with swing-and-miss issues this season. His strikeout rate sits above 33.5%, making him a prime candidate in tough pitching matchups — and this one fits the bill. He’ll face Landon Knack, who averaged a strikeout per inning across 69 frames last season. While Knack has had some early hiccups this year, he’s backed by a dominant Dodgers bullpen that can pile on the pressure late. All signs point to another tough outing for McMahon at the plate.
