D’Angelo Russell LESS THAN 5.5 Rebounds
Russell has struggled to surpass this line recently, going under it in 11 of his last 15 games, and he’s averaging just over 4.5 rebounds per game during that stretch. To make matters even more challenging, he’s facing off against a Boston team that ranks in the top 3 in the league for fewest rebounds allowed to opposing teams. Specifically, the Celtics give up just 8 total rebounds per game to opposing point guards, making it a tough matchup for Russell. Given his recent form and the formidable defense he’s up against, this number feels a bit too high for him, and I like the under here.
Ivica Zubac MORE THAN 8.5 Rebounds (Goblin)
Zubac has been absolutely dominant on the boards this season, going over this line in an impressive 86% of his games and averaging just under 12.5 rebounds per game. He’s in a prime spot to continue his strong rebounding performance, as he’s facing a Bulls team that’s severely lacking in big men after trading away Zach LaVine at the All-Star break. With the absence of key interior players for the Bulls, Zubac should have a field day on the glass. This is a fantastic opportunity for him to easily surpass this number.
