Paul George LESS THAN 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
George has struggled to meet expectations in Philadelphia this season, and things have taken another hit as he will now be without the support of Embiid for the remainder of the year. Despite his solid performance, averaging just under 26 points, rebounds, and assists per game, he has failed to surpass this line 72% of the time. While his usage rate is expected to rise with Embiid out, history suggests that George still falls short of this line in 57% of games, even when given a more prominent role. In fact, in those games, he has averaged less than 29 combined points, rebounds, and assists. This makes it clear that even with a potential boost in usage, his overall output may still be limited.
Jalen Duren MORE THAN 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Duren has been on a solid run recently, surpassing this line in 14 of his last 20 games, where he’s averaged just shy of 29 points, rebounds, and assists per game. Tonight, he faces a favorable matchup against a Brooklyn team that has been relatively generous, allowing just under 34 points, rebounds, and assists per game. Although Duren is coming off a back-to-back, he logged under 17 minutes in last night’s game, so he’s well-rested and should see his usual allotment of minutes tonight. Given his current form and the matchup, there’s every reason to expect him to deliver a strong performance.
