James Harden LESS THAN 9.5 Assists

Harden has fallen short of this line in 62% of games this season, including a recent matchup against the Lakers earlier this month. He’s averaging just over 8.5 assists per game, but the possible absence of Norman Powell could play a significant role in his assist numbers tonight. Powell has been a key factor in helping boost Harden’s assist totals in the post, and without him, Harden has exceeded this line just twice in his last 12 games, averaging only 7.4 assists per game during that stretch. Given these trends, this line feels too high for Harden in this situation.

Naz Reid MORE THAN 31.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Reid has stepped into a significant role in the offense recently with both Julius Randle and Rudy Gobert sidelined for the last 5 games. During this stretch, he’s surpassed this line 4 times, averaging just under 34 combined points, rebounds, and assists per game. Now, he faces a Jazz team with a defense that’s at best mediocre. The Jazz are allowing nearly 35 combined points, rebounds, and assists to opposing centers per game, which presents a great opportunity for Reid. Given his current form and the favorable matchup, I absolutely love this spot for him tonight.
