Malik Monk MORE THAN 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Since just after Christmas, Malik Monk has been on an absolute tear for the Kings. Over the last eight games, he has consistently surpassed this line, averaging nearly 34 combined points, rebounds, and assists per game. While the Rockets have been a formidable defensive unit overall, they’ve shown some vulnerability when it comes to guarding shooting guards. In fact, Monk had a standout performance against Houston back on December 3rd, posting an impressive 31 P+R+A. With his current form and the Rockets’ defensive tendencies, he looks poised to continue his hot streak.
Tyus Jones LESS THAN 8.5 Rebounds + Assists
Over the past 12 games, Tyus Jones has struggled to hit this line, surpassing it only twice. During this stretch, he’s been averaging a modest 6.33 rebounds and assists per game, a noticeable dip from his season average of 8.5. While he does have a favorable matchup ahead against a Washington team that has been underperforming this season, Jones’ history against the Wizards is far from reassuring. In 10 career matchups with Washington, he has gone over this line just once, highlighting the difficulty he’s had in consistently producing against them. Despite the opportunity, there are lingering concerns about his ability to break out of his recent slump.
