Onyeka Okongwu LESS THAN 8 Rebounds
Okongwu has recorded 8 or fewer rebounds in an impressive 23 of 31 games this season, and he failed to hit this mark in all three matchups against the Suns last year. Currently, he’s averaging just 6.77 rebounds per game in a limited 23.5 minutes of play. While Okongwu is likely to contribute in this game, his minutes and rebounding trends make this line feel a bit too lofty. With the Suns’ solid team rebounding and Okongwu’s role still being somewhat restricted, this number seems like it might be a stretch for him to surpass.
Giannis Antetokounmpo MORE THAN 6 Assists
Giannis finds himself in a fantastic position here with Khris Middleton sidelined, as he’s stepped up significantly in Middleton’s absence. Over the last 12 games without Middleton, Giannis has exceeded this line in 9 of them, averaging an impressive 8.5 assists per game during that stretch. While the matchup against the Kings is solid, this situation is far more about Giannis assuming a larger playmaking role with Middleton out. His increased responsibility on both ends of the floor makes this line particularly appealing, as he’s shown he’s more than capable of filling the void left by his teammate’s absence.
