Nikola Vucevic MORE THAN 17.5 Points

Vucevic has been in outstanding form this season, surpassing this line in an impressive 28 of 38 games, including a solid 21-point performance against the Pelicans back in October. New Orleans has struggled defensively, ranking 25th in points allowed per game and 22nd in points allowed to opposing centers, giving up over 19 points per game to the position. With the Pelicans’ defensive weaknesses, this matchup sets up as an excellent opportunity for Vucevic to continue his strong scoring run. It’s a prime spot for him, and the line looks very favorable.

Anfernee Simons LESS THAN 32.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Simons has struggled to reach this number in 22 of his 35 games this season, with his overall average falling below 27 points, rebounds, and assists combined. He faces a challenging matchup against a Nets team that ranks in the top half of the league in defending shooting guards across all three major statistical categories. Moreover, they are particularly stingy when it comes to rebounding, ranking 2nd in rebounds allowed to shooting guards. While Simons will likely contribute decently in this game, the level of competition and the Nets’ solid defensive showing make this line feel a bit too high for him to clear.
