Facing a Houston Texans team ranked in the bottom half of the NFL in rushing defense, Dobbins will be key to Jim Harbaugh’s plan to establish the running game early. Dobbins closed the regular season with back-to-back 18+ carry performances and has shown more efficiency on the ground than teammate Hassan Haskins.

Lead backs vs Houston have seen the following workloads in the last five weeks: Jonathan Taylor (16 carries), D’Andre Swift (14 carries), Aaron Jones (19 carries), Travis Etienne (if that even counts, 11 carries), and James Cook (20 carries). For the Chargers to leave H-Town with a “W”, Dobbins should see 18+ carries here.

Pick 2: Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens – More than 272.5 Passing + Rushing Yards

With favorable January weather in Baltimore and a Pittsburgh team limping into the playoffs, Lamar Jackson is primed for a big performance. Jackson has averaged 299.24 passing + rushing yards per game this season and has consistently excelled in the playoffs, averaging 86.63 rushing yards and 220.67 passing yards across his six playoff games. He surpassed 272.5 combined yards in 11 of 17 regular season games and, while the loss of Zay Flowers is certainly significant, this line looks like a bit of an overreaction to that news.
