Lincoln Pare MORE THAN 72.5 Rushing Yards
Pare was already heavily involved in the offense last game against Southern Alabama, racking up an impressive 28 carries, and now he’s in line to take on an even bigger role with starter Mahdi transferring to Arizona. Given the circumstances, Pare is set to receive a ton of work in this game, with no shortage of opportunities coming his way. To add to that, there are rumors swirling that starting QB Jordan McCloud could be limited or sit for part of the game, which would likely shift even more responsibility onto the run game. With a larger workload potentially coming his way, Pare is in prime position to dominate and make the most of every touch. This is shaping up to be a big opportunity for him.
Elijah Spencer MORE THAN 43.5 Receiving Yards
Spencer has firmly established himself as the clear #2 wide receiver behind Daniel Jackson throughout the season, and with Jackson now opting out to focus on preparing for the draft, Spencer is primed to step into an even bigger role. Over the last 5 games, he’s been on fire, averaging over 69 receiving yards per game and exceeding that mark in each of those contests. With Jackson out, Spencer is expected to see a significant increase in targets, and he’ll have a solid opportunity to shine against a Virginia Tech pass defense that ranks somewhere in the middle of the pack. Given his recent form and the favorable matchup, Spencer is in a great position to continue his strong play and put up big numbers in this one.
