Pick #1: Isaiah Hartenstein – Oklahoma City Thunder – More than 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Hartenstein finally returned to action this season last week, and he’s been immediately productive. In his first two games of the season, the seven-footer has averaged 30.5 minutes while also averaging a double-double (16 points, 12 rebounds, 3.5 assists). He averaged .735 PRA per minute last season in NY and figures to be a near lock to see north of 30 minutes per night with Chet Holmgren out for the foreseeable future. SGA called Hartenstein a “dream big man” for him following Monday night’s win over Sacramento. I’ll be grabbing up this 23.5 PRA early before we start to see that number creep up.
Pick #2: Nikola Vucevic – Chicago Bulls – More than 28.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
This number seems a bit light, given Vucevic’s recent production. The veteran center has cruised past this total in four of his last five games and will take the court tonight averaging a double-double in 11 road games this season (21 points, 10 rebounds, 3.2 assists). He posted a line of 18/14/5 against the Orlando Magic when these teams squared off at the end of October. He’s played very well in the second half of back-to-backs thus far this season, averaging 24.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in four occurrences.
