Pick #1: Brennan Presley – Oklahoma State Cowboys – More than 7.5 Receptions

Asking for eight receptions from a college wide receiver is a lot, but perhaps not for Presley this afternoon in Stillwater. The senior wideout hauled in 101 passes last season and is on his way to flirting with another 100+ reception season this year, as he’ll take the field with 72 grabs through 10 games.

Presley has posted double-digit receptions in two of the last three games, and this might be the best matchup he’s had all season. He will face a Texas Tech squad that ranks second-to-last in the FBS in passing yards allowed (305.6 per game), and opponents are averaging 37.8 passing attempts per game when playing them this season. This game is a high scoring game, and Okie State will need to keep their foot on the gas on offense for 60 minutes if they plan to keep pace with the Red Raiders.

Pick #2: Will Howard – Ohio State Buckeyes – More than 253.5 Passing Yards

The game of the week is at the Horseshoe, where Ohio State will “welcome” the 10-0 Indiana Hoosiers. This is a battle between two of the best rushing defenses in the country, and I think Ohio State will finally be forced to routinely put the ball in Howard’s hands and let their senior QB sling it to his abundance of talented WRs.

Howard has completed a ridiculous 72.9% of his passes this season, averaging 9.7 yards per attempt in the process. His 181.9 QB RTG is fourth in all of FBS, trailing only Jaxson Dart, Arch Manning, and today’s opposing QB Kurtis Rourke. We could see 30+ passes in this game, which would easily be enough to let him sail past this 254-yard target.
