Jared Goff MORE THAN 1.5 Passing Touchdowns

Jared Goff has truly evolved into an unstoppable force in Detroit, and he’s been on an absolute tear lately, throwing for 2 or more touchdown passes in 5 of his last 6 games. With the exciting return of Jameson Williams tonight, Goff gains an additional dynamic weapon in the passing game, giving him even more options to exploit. Meanwhile, the Texans have struggled defensively against the pass all season, allowing 2 or more touchdown passes in 6 of their 9 games so far, which has become a consistent pattern for how teams put up points against them. In stark contrast, they’ve been nearly impenetrable against the run, surrendering only 2 rushing touchdowns since Week 3. Given the high-scoring potential of this matchup, it’s safe to say that Goff is primed to add a couple more touchdown passes to his impressive tally tonight.

Joe Mixon MORE THAN 74.5 Rushing Yards

Once again, I’m turning to Joe Mixon here, and for good reason. In every game he’s finished this season, Mixon has rushed for at least 100 yards—he’s been consistent, reliable, and a key part of his team’s offense. The Lions, on the other hand, have struggled to contain opposing running backs, allowing at least 80 rushing yards to the lead back in four of their last five contests. The one exception? A matchup with Dallas, whose anemic run game isn’t exactly a challenge for any defense. To make matters worse for Detroit, they rank among the bottom 10 teams in the league in defensive rush efficiency, giving up a generous 4.8 yards per carry. While the Texans are home underdogs and will likely air it out a fair amount, their offense has been grounded in the running game all season long, and I expect that trend to continue in this matchup. With Mixon’s form and the Lions’ struggles up front, he looks poised for another big day on the ground.
