Pick #1: Dylan Sampson – Tennessee Volunteers – More than 24.85 Fantasy Points

We don’t see too many conventional “Bell-Cow” running backs any longer, but Dylan Sampson is certainly one for Tennessee. The junior running back has already rushed for 980 yards on 171 carries in just eight games this season. Throw in 19 rushing touchdowns, and it’s somewhat surprising we aren’t hearing any more about him in the Heisman race.

Sampson has carried the ball at least 22 times in five straight games. Tonight, under the lights at Neyland Stadium, he has a top-notch matchup awaiting him. Tennessee will take the field as 25.5-point favorites over an overmatched Mississippi State squad. The Bulldogs ranked 123 among FBS teams as they have allowed an ugly 211.7 rushing yards per game this season. If Mississippi State can keep this game even remotely competitive, Josh Huepel should be more than willing to let his running game put on a show this evening.

Pick #2: Shedeur Sanders – Colorado Buffalos – More than 328.5 Passing Yards

This is a high target, but it’s not high enough to turn me away. Sanders is averaging 324 yards passing per game this season, and we know his dad is going to do everything in his power to get his son to NYC for the Heisman ceremony. Sanders has already attempted 300 passes on the season and will likely be chucking the ball all over the field today in Lubbock as the Red Raiders have allowed the second-most passing yards against this season in all of FBS (307.2 yards against per game). With Travis Hunter proving to be back to full health last week, Sanders and this Colorado offense should face very little resistance moving the ball up and down the field here. In this one, 400+ passing yards is not out of the question for Sanders.
