Luka Doncic MORE THAN 49.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
The Mavericks have had four months to dwell on losing in the NBA Finals last season, but they finally get to back to work tonight in Dallas. This matchup will draw plenty of media attention as Wemby takes on Luka, and Luka seems to thrive in these scenarios.
Last season, in four meetings against the Spurs, all Doncic did was average 29.3 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists (with three triple-doubles). He was also a tick better at the American Airlines Center, averaging 34.2 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 10.0 assists in 34 home games last season. Luka topped 49.5 PRA in 45 of 70 games last season (64.3% clip), and I expect him to get there again on Thursday night.
Russell Westbrook MORE THAN 16.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
We all know Westbrook is way past his prime, but he’s still shown the ability to fill up the stat sheet when given the opportunity. Last season, he quietly averaged 0.88 PRA per minute for the Clippers and figures to routinely see 20+ minutes per night in Denver as the point guard for the Nuggets’ second unit. I’ll grab this play early before it creeps higher.
