Alex Orji MORE THAN 126.5 Passing Yards

Orji may not be known for his passing prowess, but the current expectations surrounding him feel unreasonably low. So far, he’s attempted just seven passes across two games.  However, as he prepares to face a high-octane USC team capable of racking up points, it’s clear he’ll need to step up and stretch the field more. While it might be a stretch to expect him to eclipse the 300-yard mark, achieving over 150 yards seems not only feasible but likely, especially considering the way the dynamics of this game are likely to unfold.

Josh Kelly MORE THAN 65.5 Receiving Yards

Texas Tech put on an impressive display last week, decisively defeating North Texas, but since the starters hardly saw the field, we can’t place too much weight on that performance. In the two competitive matchups that Tech faced, Kelly shone brightly, racking up 19 receptions for a total of 253 yards. As they gear up for a showdown against Arizona State—who recently surrendered a staggering 247 receiving yards to Texas State’s wide receivers—it’s clear that Kelly is poised for a big game. He’s been a pivotal player in Tech’s dynamic passing attack, and I’m particularly excited about this matchup in a high-scoring environment with a tight spread. Expect him to be heavily targeted and ready to make a significant impact.
